Lydia Riegle - Modern Love

Modern Love is an exhibition of framed 1/1 monotype printworks. I use color, form, composition and whimsy to provide a connection to that buoyant, more joyous, and hopeful time.

Vitality and joy are at the heart of my work. Through hand-pulled monotype prints, I invite you to experience a unique perspective where energy, scale and saturated color come alive.

My monotype prints explore two distinct directions. One collection pays homage to Mid-Century design – bold color, clean geometry, and unexpected large formats. The other captures stylized natural environments, evoking the big, wide open and a deep sense of place.

I hope you discover a spark of vitality and joy in every piece.
