The essence of being and creating unfolds in the spaces between. What if instead of rushing to fill these gaps, we embraced the opportunity to truly experience them? It is within these interstices that we can simply exist.

In this exhibition, I dive into the realms of time and space, both in my life and through visual expression. This body of work captures those moments that ground me in the present. I aimed for an ethereal and moody atmospheric feel in these landscapes. I selected oil paints for their ability to blend and create soft transitions. By employing expressive brushstrokes and contrasting skylines, I sought to dissolve the boundary between the earthly and the otherworldly. The space between.

As an artist, I often explore a range of subjects and mediums, yet I find myself increasingly drawn to landscapes and abstract forms. I enjoy pushing my color palettes beyond what the eye can perceive, favoring jewel tones combined with neutrals. My fascination with impasto techniques, expressive brushstrokes, and glazing layers are taking over the canvas these days. The natural world continually inspires my artistic endeavors. I frequently draw inspiration from various sources, blending memories with photographs in my paintings.
