Greg Johnson has produced a wide body of work in commercial and residential interior design, lighting fixture design, furniture, illustration, and graphic design.
Acrylic paint has captured his attention as a medium that has a unique ability to express its own agenda. When allowed, the paint will interact with its environment freely and express much more personality than Greg could hope to do so by squeezing the pigment out of a brush.
Greg's works place themselves along a continuum somewhere between completely abstract and representational. Most pieces will embody both characteristics depending on the distance that they are viewed.
Explorations are continually taking place in Greg's studio involving landscapes, cityscapes, various objects of affection, and abstract color studies. Commissioned work is always considered upon request.
