Collection: Deb Bartos

I paint landscapes and gardens in light-filled, saturated color, from life in nature as often as possible. Nature is a healing place for me and always surprises me with new delights.
My life and career as an RN/MHSA in nursing and education has shown me how much we have the present as a gift to enjoy, and I like sharing that feeling with others.

I really enjoy helping my collectors find the perfect piece for their space, whether a specific commission, or a painting that has meaning for them. I welcome your contact and interest. If you do not see a subject you are looking for, please ask because I probably have it in my growing collection. I also exhibit and sell my work at Warehouse Gallery in Colorado Springs, the Framed Image in Denver, and the Sangre de Cristo Art Center in Pueblo, CO.

My framed art materials (including framing) are artist grade archival, made to last. I've studied with wonderful artists individually and formally at Tucson Art Academy, Baker-Hunt Foundation, Northern Kentucky University, Denver Botanical Gardens, the Art Students League, Bemis School of Art, Colorado Mountain College in Aspen, Sangre de Cristo Art Center, and continue to learn and grow through workshops, travel and art, because it is my passion in life.

Teaching art (specifically painting) keeps me engaged in the journey of learning more with my students and I enjoy helping them find solutions to becoming better observers and painters in the process. I have taught painting at CCU, PPLD,  and the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center at Colorado College. I am currently accepting students through VAWAA.com, (Vacation With An Artist-a 4 day immersive workshop experience)
