Collection: Jill Webber-Fredrick

After teaching and practicing yoga for twenty-five years, I experienced a series of injuries that limited my day-to-day ritual, and although I continue to meditate daily, I was led to trade in the yoga studio for a studio of a different kind. In the beginning, that was my kitchen counter—experimenting with pencils, inks and watercolors. Working with subjects and materials from nature comes instinctively for me. My painting is driven by the feelings I wish to have about the world. My hope is that the sincerity of these subjects translates to the community as an offering of harmony, expression, and courage to explore what is inside each of us. My art is featured in several private collections and is sold as frameable greeting cards in local shops on the Front Range and Western Slope of Colorado.
